Not including your followers, anyone who can read should know that in the US, the Civil Court does not decide guilt. You know this.
His point being, that the civil court rendered a VERDICT nonetheless. Must you be so pedantic, Fish?

Exactly. She could have settled out of court like so many before her. She could have taken her money, hence avoiding years of legal proceedings and the glare of the media spotlight. She, and her attorneys have stated that her motivation is to force a change in WT policy. It's no different than the lawsuits against several Catholic diocese in the U.S.
Again, she could have settled already. As to your seeming assertion as fact that Ms. Conti is simply 'going after the WT's deep pockets' for some type of personal gain, please cite your references, Fisherman, just as previous posters have cited theirs.

...and this action against the Watchtower Corporation happens to fit the dictionary definition of 'Civil Law,' thus:

So true,
It's funny how Fisherman comes out as a proponent of the U.S. Judicial system, only when it suits him.
I might also add that the statute of limitations often runs out for these victims by the time they reach adulthood, so the civil courts become the only option. Tim310rd outlined this option quite thoroughlly in his post above.

Great point Tailesin! But, in my opinion, FWIW, it'd be nice if some of these videos went viral. I'm sure that someone like Bill Maher could get some mileage out of it.
Secondly, after years and years of them attacking 'Christiandom,' 'worldliness,' and 'worldly music,' it's about time to hit 'em back. Maybe it'll further rattle the WT leadership, making them even MORE paranoid, and more likely to create those self-inflicting videos on JW TV. That, in turn, makes them look all the more riduculous to any potential recruits.
Just my opinion, due to my being a feisty guy. Yet, I see where you're coming from.

Both are awesome. Might I suggest that, on the first vid (Big Butts), that you play the whole song, and include snippets from the infamous Bethel 'Happy' video. I'd also suggest you throw in some bits from THIS vid too. Just fast forward to about the :30 minute mark, and you'll see this whole congregation break out in the 'Happy' dance, INSIDE a Kingdom Hall!! My somewhat liberal Church wouldn't even do that! At least not in the pews--maybe in one of the general activity rooms. Ha!

We can dismantle his comments...
They've already been dismantled. So, let's move on.
